I definitely won't be buying it if they charge us again, though. I believe that they might but I really hope they don't, especially if this remaster fixes some of the game's most glaring issues such as the flickering shadows, for instance. The Last Remnant is a singleplayer cinematic camera and third-person JRPG and strategy game. However, they haven't released a remaster on Steam after the original game had been out (they did release 'definitive editions' before, but not remasters of games previously available on Steam for so many years), so no one can confirm that they will most certainly do this. That would be REEEEAAALLY ♥♥♥♥♥♥ but it's Square Enix, so that is a possibility. The other is that they'll charge everyone the full price, regardless if we already have the game. So while we don't pay extra, they get newcomers to pay the full price instead of previous price tag, which obviously was much lower. I have two guesses: one is that they ceased distribution early before the announcement because they intend to give everyone who already owns the game a free copy of the remaster, but they'll likely charge full price for the remaster for those who don't.

Had to be Square Enix to release it on the PS4 first even though speculations regarding this started running around because they prematurally ceased digital distribution on Steam.
